Buildings involved: The project involved 78 buildings located in the Municipality of Jesi, with a total floor area of approximately 63,837 m² and a total gross volume of approximately 255,348 m³.
Description of Activities:
The project began with an analysis of the bid documents, the completion of mandatory site inspections, and participation in coordination meetings with the client, which enabled the development of a shared strategy for the energy retrofit of the buildings and plant facilities of the Municipality of Jesi.
Once all the necessary data had been collected, it was possible to develop an energy model of the buildings—based on the UNI TS 11300 standard—which made it possible to assess the costs and benefits associated with the proposed energy retrofit measures.
For the municipal building, plans call for the installation of a direct-expansion VRF air conditioning system for summer and winter use, with wall-mounted and floor-mounted indoor units, the optimization and separation of circuits to allow for zone-by-zone control, as well as measures to optimize and reduce electricity consumption through lighting upgrades and bringing the system up to code.
For the remaining buildings, a set of measures has been identified (replacement of heat generators, terminals, and circulators, insulation of piping, installation of thermostatic valves, solar collectors, individual heat metering, and insulation of the building envelope) designed to meet and exceed the energy-saving target established by the Administration in the bidding documents.
With regard to regulatory compliance measures, plans have been made to bring certain facilities that lack anti-Legionella treatment systems into compliance with regulations.
Finally, the reports comprising the technical proposal were prepared. In addition to the descriptive and technical reports concerning the energy and technology retrofit projects for the buildings, a summary was drafted outlining the procedures for planning and delivering the service, identifying the organizational structure necessary to carry out the activities, the maintenance plans, and thesystem for monitoring, measuring, and controlling the facilities to be adopted.
