The project involved the design and construction supervision of energy retrofit work for four schools, commissioned by the Client, who, acting as an ESCO and project sponsor, carried out the work on behalf of the City of Brescia.
The design process was structured according to the three levels outlined in the Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree 50/2016), namely the technical and economic feasibility study (formerly the preliminary design), the final design, and the construction drawings. To carry out each of these design phases, site visits were conducted at the project locations, and coordination meetings were held with the Client and the municipal administration to define and agree on all details of the project.
The work planned as part of the renovation project includes replacing the windows and doors with new ones that have lower energy loss and reduced air permeability, and installing thermostatic valves.
For each of the four buildings, the necessary documentation was prepared, including explanatory reports, descriptive and performance specifications, drawings, technical specifications, window and door tables, acoustic reports, quantity surveys, construction schedules, safety and coordination plans, project files, and safety cost estimates.
The project continued with construction supervision and safety coordination during the construction phase, which involved the regular presence of Enertech Solution engineers at the four construction sites.
Finally, following the final inspections, the certifications of the work—required to obtain incentives from the Conto Termico program—were prepared, along with the certificates of proper completion, accompanied by photographic documentation taken before, during, and after the work.
