Buildings involved:Three representative stores were selected from among more than 100Feltrinelli Group stores to undergo an energy audit.
Brief description of the planned activities:
In collaboration with the Client, the sites on which to conduct the survey and prepare the energy energy:
- a branch of Genoa;
- a branch of Milan;
- a branch of Perugia.
To conductthe energyanalysis , we reviewed the documents provided by the client—such as energy consumption reports, floor plans, and systems inventories—and supplemented them with a targeted site visit.
After detailing the main plant facilities and mapped the consumption levels, the areas with the highest energy consumption and the main opportunities for improvement.
The resultingredevelopment project aims to optimizeenergy efficiency with regard to the use of electricity and heat .
Proposed initiatives for Feltrinelli retail locations
The proposed actions included:
- theinstallation of inverters on circulators for theair conditioning system;
- the replacement of obsolete heat generators with boilers with more that are more efficient;
- theoptimization of the summer set point and theadjustment of theoperating schedule, if necessary.
Other actions included the replacement of traditional light fixtures with LED technology, theinstallation of monitoring systems and theimplementation of an energy management system.
