Job Description:
The project involves the redevelopment of a portion of the ground floor of the building, transforming some workshops into offices and storage areas. A second section of the building, used as specific tests on radioactive drugsmust remain unchanged and ensure efficiency and safety. For this reason, it is planned to limit changes to the existing facility by adopting specific solutions.
Upgrading the Existing Facility
In the feasibility study , provisions were made for theupgrade of the existing plant for air conditioning of the portion of the building undergoing renovation, specifically through the segmentation of the supply and return ducts; theoriginal AHUwill be retained, with the addition of inverters on the fans to adjust the airflow to the rooms being served.
Projects for Controlled-Environment Facilities
As for the area designated for testing radioactive drugs, it will be served by a new Air Handling Unit and a new exhaust system, all in compliance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14644, for use in controlled contamination.
